We strive to provide our members with regular social outings. Whether it’s visiting the museum, attending our monthly meetings, participating in community workshops, or exploring something at the theatre, we want to keep our interested members engaged. A “part of”, is always better than “apart from”. Become a member to stay informed of our upcoming events.
Every year, we run a number of fundraising campaigns, from Holiday Poinsettia sales, walks, and our signature seasonal fundraising event that always features beautiful music.
On the second Thursday of every month, the council meets from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
We meet at the Lion's Centre located at 347 Burnham Street in Peterborough,
Our meetings are also available virtually via Zoom.

We are over the moon happy with how our “Listening for Spring” fundraising event turned out on May 2nd, 2025.
Thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, prize donors, and everyone who bought tickets and attended. Your generous support enables us to provide better vision care to
those who need it most.
Special thanks to Ian Crawford, Ron Phillips, and Carling Stephen for entertaining us for the evening and to the staff and residents at Canterbury Gardens for the warm hospitality.
Every October we start taking poinsettia orders.
Each Poinsettia is beautifully grown and crafted by Rekkers Gardens, a community-focused small business based in Clarington. All proceeds raised stay with our Peterborough CCB Chapter to support the services we provide to our vision loss community.
